And, the truth is that the court system really isn't designed to solve people's personal problems. However, when you are in court over disagreements about children, its important that the psychological issues be clearly understood by your lawyer and by the Judge.

As a Forensic Psychology Consultant, Dr. Simon works for your attorney in a totally private manner with his work being covered by the attorney-client work product privilege.

In This Role, Dr. Simon Can:

• Be a part of your team, helping your attorney and you make strategic choices with regard to the child-focused/child Custody aspects of your case.
• Educate you about the mental-health related elements and events in your case (such as mandatory mediation, forensic evaluations).
• Brain storm to arrive at potential solutions leveraging 25 plus years in forensic psychology.
• Conduct background research on specific issues or needed resources.
• Help your attorney develop a case theory and a cohesive/comprehensive case strategy.
• Write direct and cross examination questions (whichever is appropriate) for trial or for depositions on matters dealing with mental health and psychology issues.
• Prepare you to be an effective participant in Child Custody mediation and/orChild Custody evaluations.
• Help prepare you and other individuals who are going to testify in court or in depositions.
