• Identifies the strengths in the work product, so as to anticipate what the opposition will emphasize during litigation and at trial
• Authors a written report, summarizing the strengths and weaknesses of the forensic work product (or if desired, a verbal report in lieu)
• Offers expert testimony with regard to the forensic work product, if appropriate

Depending on the length of the report and the scope of the review (i.e. underlying documents to be included in the review), Dr. Simon offers a turnaround time for the preliminary review of the forensic work product of one to two weeks.

This kind of review is not another evaluation and it is not an alternative set of recommendations. It is an objective and empirically anchored analysis of a forensic work product.

The Review:

• Is undertaken to ascertain the degree to which the work product was conducted in accordance with procedural guidelines and standards
• Assesses the degree to which the methods and procedures used in the work product are valid, reliable and properly carried out
• Detects potential signs of bias
• Evaluates whether the work product demonstrates a logical connection between the data gathered and reported and the recommendations offered

Case review gives you and gives the Court objective information and guidance as to the probative utility of the forensic work product.
