Dr. Simon is a trained and experienced high conflict case manager (special master). In this role, Dr. Simon is appointed by the Court to serve in a quasi-judicial capacity, gathering facts and, if need be, making decisions about aspects of the case that are specified by the Court. In this quasi-judicial role, Dr. Simon combines his skills as a forensic professional, clinical psychologist and family law professional in helping parents reach their own decisions and, if this is not possible, making decisions (rulings) that are child-focused.
As a high conflict case manager, matters can be heard and settled rapidly and without the fuss and cost of full litigation. As a high conflict case manager, Dr. Simon can help educate and empower the parents and assist them in developing effective co-parenting skills.
